One of the greatest singers of Korea in the 1970s, Jeong Mijo leads a career as a modern artist, while crossing the border between music and art. Jeong graduated from the Department of Painting at the Ewha Womans University and generously donated to Ewha Womans University Museum her paintings and the stage costumes designed by André Kim that she wore in the 1970s.
This exhibition is an opportunity to garner a glimpse into an aspect of 1970s culture as well as Ewha Womans University, the cradle of female education that nurtured Jeong Mijo, with a focus on her works as a female artist who graduated from Ewha.
